Charming blue lens aka Puffy 3 tones blue

Charming blue lenses aka Puffy 3 tones blue

I owned brown lenses with the same design and I loved them, but few months ago they expired and I decided to buy a new ones, in blue color.

*Find the review for Puffy brown lenses here.*

So let's start with few informations about these lenses:

base curve : 8,6mm
diameter : 14,5mm
water content : 38%
using period: 6-12 months
brand: Venus Eyes

Comfort ❤❤❤❤

For 38% of water it's pretty nice, I can wear them with my oversensitive eyes, even tho they're a little bit more drying than i.fairy, fynale or luxurybabe lenses. The biggest + for them was a great comfort after putting them on. My eyes were not watering and I almost could not feel them.

Size ❤❤❤❤❤

They may be just 14,5mm but they made my eyes look much bigger. The size was still ok for daily wearing, and they looked fine even without heavy eye make-up.

Color ❤❤❤❤

This is the greatest example of color changing under the light. They were extra vibrant on direct sunlight and a strong artificial light, but not as much vibrant under a bad light.

Application ❤❤❤❤❤

I experienced probably the easiest manipulation with these, even though they were really soft. But since I bought lens applicator I have no problem while putting even very soft lenses into my eyes.

Design ❤❤❤❤

For cosplay I like more visible outer dark ring, but if you want more natural-looking lenses, the design would be 5/5.

Pros:
- they look very big even with smaller DIA
- beautiful vibrant color on direct light
- natural design
- easy application
- very soft and comfortable, good for beginners

Cons:
- may look a little bit too natural for some cosplays
- I recommend using eye drops with these for sensitive eyes
- may look darker on bad/poor light

And now some photos!

Artificial light:

Natural light:

Overall these lenses are beautiful and a good choice especially if you want natural but enlarging lenses with the vibrant color. You can find them in almost every e-shop with Korean lenses.

Make-up review: Essence Insta Perfect & Wet n Wild Photo focus foundation

Make-up review: Essence Insta Perfect & Wet n Wild Photo focus foundation

Today I decided to make another make-up review.
This is something like a first impressions, and full a day wear test. After I mix it with other foundations, I will definitely make another review!

Essence Insta Perfect

I was looking forward so much for this foundations! As a kid from the Middle Europe, we had no pale foundation shades in the drugstore, and until now I had to order pale foundations from abroad, or mix the darker ones with a white foundation mixers.
The palest shade is 10, and it does not oxidase a lot, so it's ideal for characters with pale skin. Undertone is cold, a little bit pink.

Application was not bad, and foundation did not catch any dry patches on my skin (but you still need to use some moist cream or base under this make-up, since it's matte, and matte foundations tends to be more drying). I recommend to work on smaller areas, and not applying more layers when it's already set. I also used fixing powder & spray on the top, even tho the finish looked nice - this way all the powder products I used on the top (contour, higlighter) were blending smoothly.
I was wearing it for about 8 hours, and that's where I got kinda disappointed. First few hours (4-5) it look untouched, like if I just applied it, but after that it started breaking down a little, and in the end I was pretty oily on my T-zone.
The coverage was abut light to medium, buildable, but not for many layers. You can't build it to the full coverage, but solid medium it is, if you you use a full coverage concealer under the foundation, it ends up looking very good.
On the other hand, when you don't have extra oily skin type, this foundation can be very nice!

Wet n Wild Photo focus

Very affordable foundation that majority od the people likes. That's what you can find when you search for more informations of this guy.
For very long time, poor people of the Slovak Republic did not have an opportunity to buy wet n wild products. Since this brand is an American drugstore brand, and the official page ships only to American countries, I was waiting every year, like a little kid under the tree on the Christmas, when the brand starts shipping to the Europe. And guess what. The page is still not shipping worldwide. Disappointed...
But the point is - you can already found this foundation on the UK pages, that does ship to the Europe, and even tho prices are little higher and shade range is EXTREMLY LIMITED, you can still have some masterpieces from this affordable brand.
..And this foundation is one of them. Blends nice, medium to high coverage, pretty nice finish, and as the name says - o flashback on photos!
I wore it for my Chuuya cosplay for about 10 hours, and the foundation still looked good on the end of the day! Seriously! I was touching my face, I was eating, travelling, and pieces of the wig was sliding on my face.
Also I love the shade I bought. It's called Soft Ivory, and have a slightly yellow (warm) undertone - just like Chuuya's face. It will be too dark for very pale characters, but you can still mix it with a white foundation mixer if you want (or adjust a shade undertone with lavender mixers/concealers).
The only thing that made me search for another foundation is the fact that after a few hours it made lines around my mouth. But this is very uncommon problem that not many people have, and it happens to me only with matte (or semi-matte) foundations. So if you do not have this experience with other matte foundations, it most likely won't happened to you (lucky).

Since I made many photos of Chuuya, there they are:
(ps: I used filters, but you can at least see the foundation tone on the different types of the light)

Swatches on my arm:
first: Essence Insta perfect (shade 10), second: Wet n wild Photo Focus (Soft Ivory), last: Etude house Big cover BB (Vanilla)
strong flash light
 no flash (indoor light)
more natural flash

Blended swatches:
 flash light
no flash (indoor light)

A small compare to the lightest shade of Makeup revolution's Conceal and define concealer - shade 0,5 - which is very pink-toned
(photo taken without flash, indoors)

Halloween Visual Kei inspired make-up

Halloween Visual Kei inspired make-up

Yo guys, today I prepared something special - something I did not even know that I will make - something similar to a make-up tutorial!
Even when it's not a cosplay make-up, I thought that it might help you, since I noticed a big improvement in my make-up skill as a cosplayer after I started trying to imitate Japanese Visual Kei artist's make-up looks.
Visual Kei make-up is a little bit more complicated that everyday make-up, but not as much complicated as a cosplay make-up - you have a freedom to try whatever you want, you don't have to follow any template (aka character's look). There are so many styles of an eyeliner and a shading in the Visual Kei scene, that it's nearly impossible not to learn something from trying these looks.
If you have any spare time in your hands, you can also try it, and I will be very grateful for any feedback from you! Please don't forget to show me your work or tag me, I'll be looking forward to see what you accomplished!

Good luck!!!

1. First, I started drawing "guidelines" with a grey eyeliner. They don't have to be perfect or sharp, we're going to use them for applying an eyeshadow, and later for an easier liquid eyeliner application. I'm using very thin eyeliner brush for this step.
2. Let's start applying the eyeshadow - first I'm using a lighter one (blueish grey), a darker one will lay on it better, and you won't have much struggle with blending, since darker eyeshadows tends to blend harder and they can become patchy. I use to pack eyeshadows on with a flat eyeshadow brush, I can get more pigment this way. Please never forget to knock-off the spare pigment from the brush, you will get way less fallout using this trick!
3. Take your time blending, until the color looks gradient enough. Blend with a clean brush, if you want to pack more color, pack it with a flat brush and then blend again. I'm using a round blending brush.
4. Apply the darker eyeshadow, and pack it on a smaller area, so you can clearly see the edges of the grey eyeshadow.
5. Blend again both colors together with a flat blending brush, or a smaller round blending brush. If the color is more vibrant or if it's on a larger area than you want it to be, you can take a blending brush with a white/skin colored eyeshadow on, tap off the excess pigment and blend the edges.
6. Use white or skin colored pigmented eyeshadow to brighten the inner and an outer corner on the eye using a small precise pencil brush. I also used a pink eyeshadow, but this step is optional, and I do not recommend using colorful eyeshadows in the cosplay make-ups of characters who do not have any vibrant colors on their eyelids (or under them). I tend to use such a colors in a Visual Kei inspired looks to make them look more playful.
7. I'm applying the eyeliner after I finish working with the eyeshadows. I'm drawing it with really precise flat and round eyeliner brushes, not with an applicator which is inside. Longer handle on the brushes allows me more freedom and a stability, but if you prefer the eyeliner applicator, it's alright.
8. Fill the space between your lashes with the eyeliner (kajal, gel or liquid), and apply just one coat of mascara (or a clear gel, if you have naturally dark eyelashes). After these two steps I use to brush my eyelashes with a clear mascara brush to make them look more separated and straight, because it will be more difficult to apply false eyelashes on a curled natural lashes.
9. The last step is applying the false eyelashes. Top lashes are going right above the lashline, and the bottom ones are being cut first (one by one) and then applied on the bottom line which I drew with the liquid eyeliner. After the lash glue dries, cover it with the liquid eyeliner.

All done!

This is the finished look with my lenses on:

Review: Lens Story Cara Pink lenses

Review: Lens Story Cara Pink lenses

DIA: 16.5mm
Water content: 55%
Base Curve: 8.6mm
Lifespan: 1 year

Design: 💗💗💗💗
I love the "anime like" design in the middle of the lens, but I prefer thicker black outer ring, it's always making lenses look cuter which is ideal for cosplaying characters with big eyes, this thinner one is making them rather "creepy-cute", and from the distance you can't really see it at all. But as long as you going for this more intense look, these tenses would be perfect.

Color: 💗💗💗💗💗
The color is awesome. It covers my natural color perfectly when my pupils expand. Also color is more vibrant than you can see usually on other lenses, which is making them being seen well from the  distance as well as from the near.

Size: 💗💗💗💗💗
Can't complain about the size, these are the biggest lenses you can buy on the market. The bigger ones are probably only Mini sclera (which are really uncomfortable, and you can wear them safely only for less than 6h, so for the cons I would recommend these instead).

Comfort: 💗💗💗💗💗
For such a huge lenses these are pretty comfy, also very soft and have bigger % of water than most of the other lenses (other lenses usually have only 38%), which means that they are less drying for your eyes.

Application: 💗💗💗
Unfortunately they were harder to apply, since they are very soft and big. But this is pretty usual for such a huge lenses, so overall I was prepared for this and I'm not disappointed. I think it's worth for the comfort they offer.

Next I have some photos:

Without flash

With flash

In a bad light (still very visible, wow)

Selfie - with/without color boost - close-up

Selfie - with/without color boost - from the distance

Professional photos - close-up

Professional photos - from the distance

Summary:
Pros:
- very big
- comfortable
- vibrant color, very unique
-can be seen from the distance
- multicolor design
- cosplay friendly

Cons:
- thinner outer dark ring (creepy-cute look)
- little bit hard to apply
- not very natural

Overall I am very pleased with them, I would recommend them, and I can also say that they are exactly like I imagined. Would definitely buy again 💗.

Uniqso review - Sweety poppy yellow

Uniqso review - Sweety poppy yellow

/featuring Aoba Seragaki cosplay

My first lenses from Uniqso are these yellow-gold lenses. I wasn't expecting much since these lenses were on the sale and did not have many reviews then, but oh my! I was so surprised!

Why? Let me tell you:

First of all - some description:
DIA - 14.5mm
Water content: 38%
B.C.: 8,6mm
Can use for: 1 year
FDA Approved.

Model design (photo from the seller):

Comfort 🔴🔴🔴🔴
I have a very sensitive eyes, so it's a HUGE problem for me to find some lenses that I can wear for more than a few hours, or wear them at all. These lenses were pretty much comfortable, I wore them for about 8 hours on the con. I would honestly give them even more stars, if I did not have lenses from Luxurybabe and i.fairy brands which are a tiny bit more comfy.

Color 🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴
They completely covered my natural eye color when my pupils expanded, and they were visible even in a bad light. Also did not look too unnatural, and that's a big plus, since I really dislike extremely artificial "Halloween lenses".

(sweety poppy yellow in a bad light - color is still very visible)

Design 🔴🔴🔴
Not my favorite, since I prefer bold outside dark ring, but if you want these lenses for some outfits or even casual wearing, you will definitely like them for this natural kind of design.

(sweety poppy yellow with my natural hair and casual outfit)

Application 🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴
Diameter of these lenses is pretty small and lenses are holding their shape a bit, so it's easy to apply them. Also design is more visible on the top side than on the bottom, so you can easily see if the sides are not inverted.

Size 🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴
Little bit bigger than my natural iris, and that's exactly what I wanted. Would really recommend for characters with smaller mature eyes, like bishounens. Won't be good for characters with huge eyes tho (but you can choose maki yellow or a moonlite yellow lenses instead).

(my natural iris/eye color vs. lenses)

Where to get them?
